ABC Kitchen was my very first lunch in NYC.

It was up there with The Spotted Pig of restaurants that I “had to check out”.

So, I did.

We were seated right next to Aziz Anzari and I ordered one of their well received pizzas.

So, when I had brunch with a friend who had just moved to the city, I found it fitting that we come back. And order their pizza.

The pizzas are flavorful but very thick and filling. If you order one, definitely share it. Maybe split a salad to start.

What did we do? We ordered their squash on toast to start and also ordered a burger! Too much food! Which is something I rarely say, so trust me on this.

Definitely make a reservation, because this place is still packed after all these years. I guess there are a lot of people new to the city who want to discover what it means to brunch.

ABC is the perfect brunch spot for the newbie. However, I’ve got a few other recommendations for you. Once you’ve settled in and chilled out.
